Tainted Love: The Best of the 80s Live Reno Concert reviews
John Mayer was great!
"Attended the show at Jiffy Lube Live. Tainted Love: The Best of the 80s Live and his band performed excellently. The crowd, varying in age from young to old, was fantastic. The age difference was due to many individuals starting to listen to Tainted Love: The Best of the 80s Live years ago. I wished he had played more of his older songs. I wanted to hear the older stuff, like Daughters or My Stupid Mouth, which were not performed. Although, he did play Why Georgia, which is one of my favorite JM songs, albeit in a medley with No Such Thing. I would have preferred to hear No Such Thing in its entirety. In the end, it was still a great show!"
Incredible
"I think it's a winning combination. Loverboy was great instrumentalist. Their playing was great! Most fun concert ever for me! Went for Tainted Love: The Best of the 80s Live and not at all disappointed. STYX phenomenal "performers" put on one outstanding performance. But to finish with my favorite, made for a perfect conclusion!! GO TO THEIR CONCERT, YOU'LL BE SO HAPPY YOU DID ♡ thank you RE0 for the souvenir items you tossed. I would recommend this tour to rock n roll fans. It's truly a performance you'll not forget. REO with Loverboy & STYX! I'm feeling school girlish showing friends my REO~ Bruce Hall guitar pick he tossed! & thank you for an evening of music we're still talking & happy about =)"
Great atmosphere, but...
The concert had a fantastic atmosphere - there were only a few people smoking pot or getting drunk, and the crowd seemed to be enjoying themselves. People were dancing, tossing beach balls, and having a great time. However, I was somewhat let down by Tainted Love: The Best of the 80s Live for not performing many of his popular songs. He did include a few well-known ones, but also played lesser-known tracks and even covers of other artists like Journey and Prince. Many in the audience didn't know the lyrics to some of the songs, which was disappointing. Despite this, I had a good time and would recommend the concert to others.
